Let There Be Light

Genesis 1:3, "Then God said, “Let there be Light”; and there was Light." ~ (NASB)

Do you ever feel like you are grasping around in darkness? Or maybe you are struggling to make sense of it all? God CREATED an answer for you today, in your situation way back in Genesis 1.3. When God said, “Let there be Light” this wasn't an element Light CREATED, but an infusion of Himself into the earth.

John 1:4, "In Him was life, and the life was the Light of men." ~ (NASB)

There's nothing worse than groping around in darkness looking for something important. I mean, where is a good Light when you need it? How about a Light you always have with you? Where would you keep it, you ask? How about in your heart!

John 1:12, "But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, even to those who believe in His name," ~ (NASB)

That's all it takes to be a Light Bearer, is to "RECEIVE Him." Bam, like the day in Genesis 1.3 you become infused with Light. This Light never goes out, it never needs replacing, or to be changed. This Light gives CREATIVE problem solving solutions to life's most pressing issues.

I say we purpose to RECEIVE Him, so His Light can be in our HEART too! So, today, we say to God, Let there be Light.

Pastor Ted Blumberg first accepted Jesus as his personal Savior on January 6th, 1975 at a James Robinson crusade. For a number of years, he was involved in his local church and began learning the basics of the Bible.

But it wasn't until 1989 that he embraced the call to ministry on his life. (The same year he married his wife, Jenny.) At this time, they fully committed to answering the call on their life by moving to Dallas, TX and attending Christ for the Nations Institute together. Pastor Ted received a degree in Practical Theology in 1992. He accepted his first pastoring job in Melbourne, FL in 1994 at Freedom Christian Center where he served as the Associate Pastor for several years. He also served as Pastor of Family Ministries at a local church in East Tennessee.

Since then, Pastor Ted has continued to serve God's people in many ways such as marriage counseling, mentoring and teaching the Word of God every chance he gets. Recently, Pastor Ted answered God's latest calling by writing down the principles he's been taught and publishing his first book, The Principles of God, Vol. 1.
