Is There Such a Thing As Truth?

13 But when He, the Spirit of TRUTH, comes, He will guide you into all the TRUTH; for He will not speak on His own initiative, but whatever He hears, He will speak; and He will disclose to you what is to come. - John 16:13 (NASB)

Can something be TRUE for you and not for me? Is TRUTH RELATIVE? Does TRUTH EXIST?

The current culture we live in is known as a Post-Truth Culture. A 69-year-old man in the Netherlands petitioned the court to change his recorded age to 49 because he FELT 49. A 5'9" Caucasian man walks around a college campus asking people to acknowledge he was oriental or 6'5" without a single student DISAGREEING with him because that would BE MEAN and INTOLERANT. TRUTH is having a hard-time.

There must be a way to navigate life that is universal. TRUE North on the compass is also TRUE North for everyone else.

If we judge TRUTH off man, we may get many differing versions. There is no such thing as my TRUTH or your TRUTH, there's TRUTH! There is ONE TRUTH and ONE TRUTH ONLY and His name is Jesus. He is the same yesterday, today, and forever. Jesus is the Word so we must use the BIBLE as THE source of TRUTH.

If we seek Him, we will find TRUTH so we can tell others who ask, Is There Such a Thing As Truth?

Pastor Ted Blumberg first accepted Jesus as his personal Savior on January 6th, 1975 at a James Robinson crusade. For a number of years, he was involved in his local church and began learning the basics of the Bible.  

But it wasn't until 1989 that he embraced the call to ministry on his life. (The same year he married his wife, Jenny.) At this time, they fully committed to answering the call on their life by moving to Dallas, TX and attending Christ for the Nations Institute together. Pastor Ted received a degree in Practical Theology in 1992. He accepted his first pastoring job in Melbourne, FL in 1994 at Freedom Christian Center where he served as the Associate Pastor for several years. He also served as Pastor of Family Ministries at a local church in East Tennessee. 

Since then, Pastor Ted has continued to serve God's people in many ways such as marriage counseling, mentoring and teaching the Word of God every chance he gets. Recently, Pastor Ted answered God's latest calling by writing down the principles he's been taught and publishing his first book, The Principles of God, Vol. 1.
